Webinars Don’t Work. (Unless You Do This)
Webinars absolutely work. So if they haven't worked for you yet, let me show how to turn that around.

Let’s settle this once and for all ....Webinars don’t work. At least, that’s what people say when no one shows up, no one buys, and the tech breaks right before they go live. But here’s the truth: webinars do work — when you do them properly.
Just look around the world. There are some incredibly successful marketers, coaches, consultants, all of whom run webinars on a very regular basis and have been doing so for years.
Russell Brunson would definitely agree - he has made $MILLIONS from webinars.
Dean Graziosi And Tony Robbins also regularly have great success with them.
There are dozens of webinar platforms out there now which speaks volumes in itself. They would soon be out of business without millions of customers.
Webinars are a growing business
The following graph from Custom Market Insights shows year on year growth.

If you look at the statistics, you'll see that the growth of webinar software sales is exponential. The webinar software market size has grown massively. It will grow from $122.13 billion in 2024 to $143.1 billion in 2025 (source = thebusinessresearchcompany.com ).
Do you need further convincing that webinars work?
Why the myth persists
Many entrepreneurs launch a webinar, send one email, show up late, and expect magic. It flops — and they blame the format.
🔹 No strategy.
🔹 No follow-up.
🔹 No offer.
The problem isn't webinars. It’s how they’re done.
Webinars absolutely work. So if they haven't worked for you yet, it's because you're doing them wrong.
Like ads, webinars take time, effort and multiple iterations to get right.
The process that works
Let's dive a little deeper - this next diagram represents the scenario where someone (a prospect) fills in a registration form and then watches your online presentation After the event has finished, viewers book calls in your calendar. During the call you have with each prospect, you can close a sale for your services.

In this next diagram, you'll notice the first two elements are the same - but instead of sending viewers to a calendar, they're sent to an page where they can order your offer and then see a thank you (delivery) page

There are so many different moving parts to a webinar. The presentation itself is so important, what you say, how you say it, having a good offer ready at the end. Paving the way to that offer. This so, so important. A lot of people I see doing webinars in the nicest possible way, just haven't got a clue about what they're doing and what they're saying.
This will blow your mind...but it's simple really
This next diagram will possibly blow your mind - whoa! What the heck.

Here's what's going on. We've got the webinar registration pages as above, the webinar itself and then a complicated looking bunch of curly lines and email icons.
Firstly, after people have registered for your presentation, send them reminder emails to help ensure they actually turn up on the day (we can also use some strong copy to build excitement, provide value and so forth).
The day of your webinar arrives, you do your presentation.
Some people turned up, some didn't
Of those that turned up, some purchased, some didn't.
For the people that did not turn up, we send them a link to the replay to get them back on track.
For those that showed up and watched but did not buy, we send a series of emails to encourage them to purchase. We can add a voucher code in here if we want to incentivise a purchase.
And for the people that did buy your thing, we then sell them your next thing.
Consistency is key
Now I respect anyone who has run a webinar or two, however, often in life we set ourselves unrealistic expectations bourn out of wishful thinking rather than hard data. It's the same with paid ads - people expect to run a few and then expect to make a profit straight away.
I don't mean that disrespectfully. I admire people that get started. That's brilliant. But these same people who've put all the effort into getting started, they give up far too soon. And it's because they don't know what to do. I didn't know what to do.
Now I've spent thousands on training, different aspects of technical training, public speaking, training.
I've gone from a bumbling, anxious, nervous webinar presenter to someone who is much better. I am nerd status. I know how to structure a presentation to sell. How to speak. The nuts and bolts of the coolest webinar platform features that help to squeeze the maximum benefit out of your webinars. The bells and whistles.
Closing thought
The idea that “webinars don’t work” is a myth — one that’s keeping too many entrepreneurs from turning attention into income.
