What did you think? Could you imagine being with me in conversation?

"My intentions are authentic and it will be up to you, the listener, to decide if what you hear is as important as the voice you hear it from."

The voice cloning is getting really good now. And for some applications I think this is going to be liberating:

- Entrepreneurs with great things to share but not the time to get them all into a script - the AI will do that for them.
- People with social anxieties who have difficulty talking but who have a lot on their mind...this will give them a voice.
- Organisations which need to share their thoughts but which don't have a spokesperson...AI will provide one for them.

With over 900 episodes of my own show...you know that I love being on the mic. But there are times and people for whom that's just not an option.

I've been using Jellypod ...experimenting on solo and duo shows. The screen shots below give you a simple window into what you need to do. In context..the 8 minute show that you've just heard took about 20 minutes to produce!

The complete production workflow is in one place

This is what sets Jellypod apart from the other platforms - it includes the full workflow from start to finish. Other platforms like Wondercraft are brilliant at the voice part, but script generation has to be done outside of the platform, and there is no distribution either.

Is it authentic?

There is a lot of talk about authenticity, and impact of AI on building a personal brand. I don't see AI replacing my voice, simply augmenting and amplifying my voice. If I had all the time and money in the world, maybe I would spend all day recording these ideas and sharing them.

In the absence of those luxuries, AI gives us the opportunity to share information at scale; no doubt your intentions are authentic and it will be up to the listener, to decide if what they hear is as important as the voice they hear it from.
